Amanda became a teacher because she has a passion for art and used to teach her stuffed animals, so teaching just seemed like a natural step. Something that would surprise people about her is that she strongly dislikes squirrels.  When she is not at JE she enjoys art, doing Bible study, and ballroom dance. Her favorite bible verse is psalm 34:19-20: “A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from all of them. He protects all his bones; not one of them will be broken.”
