Elijah and his wife Lauren have one beautiful little daughter, Chloe. Elijah believes our Savior called him to serve Him while in his mid-teens. Shortly after high school he attended a small Bible school called Mount Zion School of Ministry (now called Summit International School of Ministry).  While there he began to learn the intimacy and living relationship we are to have with Jesus. After this, he worked in a ministry for woman and children. There Jesus began to show him that He is our exceeding and great reward. Our goal and focus is Him, not ministry or service. After this he went back to school and completed a BA in Elementary Education and a major in Biblical Studies at Moody Bible Institute. There, he was versed in doctrine, systematic theology, and methods of teaching. He also developed a greater love and passion for truth. After graduation he taught middle school for two years and then moved to Colorado where he taught high school Bible for one year before joining JE staff this year. He has also helped lead youth groups, do nursing home ministries, lead kids clubs, serve in children’s church, lead a Bible study in a detention center, help lead worship, & help lead a Bible study in a prison. When not at JE Elijah loves working with wood, reading, biking and enjoying nature.  He loves any sports team from Chicago and almost anything with peanut butter.
