Missions

Christina Missions 1

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. – Matthew 28:19-20 (New International Version)

School Service Days

An important part of serving Christ around the world is seeking opportunities to serve Him right here at home. At JECS we provide Service Days during the school year for our students and staff to serve together alongside various Denver-area ministries. Some of our local projects include: Operation Christmas Child, World Vision, Food Bank of the Rockies, blessing our hosts by cleaning up the Grace Chapel campus, and helping with erosion control after the Waldo Canyon Fire in Colorado Springs.

Student Missions

We also challenge each student to take a five-day, cross-cultural mission trip as a graduation requirement. By stepping outside the familiarity of their own daily life and culture, they can grow in their understanding of God and learn how to bring the love and gospel of Jesus Christ to different people, cities, and countries. Our students have served around the world and in the United States on Native American reservations and in disaster relief work.
